英国の有名アニメーションスタジオで修行。帰国後、アニメーションディレクターに。2011年独立後、カフェギャラリーを経営。地元府中市内全域を舞台に芸術祭を2度主宰。2025年アーティスト活動を再始動し、20歳から継続しているアート作品「人間ドッグ」で世界進出に挑む。

Utako studied BA Animation in England then worked as a junior animator in a famous studio, Cosgrove Hall Films. After she come back to Tokyo she produced couple of animated promotional movies for Blythe dolls. She is the owner and dirctor of artist-run-space merdre and found the local art festival in Fuchu. In 2025 she reboot her artistic career and challenges to the world art market.
